to delete or not delete?

I had someone message me the other day, asking why I still have all of my old deviations up. Then they went on to say that I have "some really nice stuff" in my gallery, but it is overrun with the "bad" deviations, that there is "just too much to sift through to get to the good pictures". I did not even reply...
I have not gone through and deleted anything because I can look back and see how I've grown as a "photographer", and also because at one point, I loved each and every picture that I have uploaded onto this site...I do not do this for anyone but me. If there is too much "bad stuff" to sift through....well then tough, don't look at my gallery if you feel that way.
If you don't like my pictures, there are many other artists that you can browse, I am here for me and couldn't really care less what random people think. While I do like feedback, and it helps me grow even further...I'm not going to have a cow if I go forever with out a "fav" or a comment. I do love to get feedback, and to each their own...I just felt like I needed to explain why I do not delete old deviations...
